How can I get involved on Auditopia?

Join a collaboration group to network with other professionals on the group’s specialty. Be proactive by starting discussions and sharing your experience, this is key for a lively exchange.

Together we’re stronger! You can either share your checklists, audit programs, and other helpful templates in one of the collaboration groups. Or you can email them to us (info at auditopia dot com), and we’ll make them freely available to everyone in our Resources section of the platform.

Come up as an expert speaker or panelist in one of our future virtual events. This is a great way to share your knowledge with everyone, build your professional network, and make a name for yourself among peers. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss further.

The Auditopia team is centered around real-live internal audit professionals that believe in continuous learning and the power of tapping into our collective knowledge. We’re all lifelong learners, and are inspired by the concept of Kaizen—the Japanese philosophy of continuous, never ending improvement. To that end, we belief that anything can be improved, no matter how good it already is today and that we’ll be most successful in this journey if we collaborate and support each other.

Questions about live events

We very much welcome active contributors from our community. Let’s connect and talk about the topic you have in mind and the steps to prepare the event. It doesn’t have to be a heavy lift for you and we can explore different options together (being the sole expert v. being one of multiple panelists). Being a speaker on Auditopia is a great way to share your knowledge with everyone, build your professional network, and make a name for yourself among peers.

Absolutely! Please register for the event and everyone that couldn’t make it will get a link to a freely available recording of the event. Please note that the recording is available for about a week. If you’d like to have access to our full catalog of recorded events and obtain CPE certificates for watching them, please explore our membership levels.

All members with a Basic membership or higher will receive CPE certificates for engaging in our live events. Towards the end of each event, we’ll share a link to a post-event landing page that guides you to a short quiz. After you completed the quiz, you can access and download your certificate of completion at any time under ‘My Certificates ‘ in the drop-down menu next to your profile image (you have to be logged in).

All of your certificates of completion are conveniently archived directly on the platform, you can download them at any time by navigating to ‘My Certificates’ in the drop-down menu next to your profile picture (you have to be logged in).

Our certificates of completion comply with IIA, ISACA, and ACFE CPE requirements for any certifications held by those associations (CIA, CISA, CRMA, CFE, etc.). Auditopia currently does not offer NASBA certificates for CPA CPE requirements, this is something we will look into in the future.

Based on the community feedback, we identified themes of topics that are a priority for many of us. We’ve set those themes up as event series so you’ll only need to register once to get the Zoom link sent to your email for all events in the series. You can unsubscribe from the series at any time.

Of course! Sometimes, the email content filter in organizations blocks the Zoom Webinar emails with the join links. If you still have time until the event starts, please reach out to us and we’ll assist you. If the event is about to start (or already started), we suggest you watch it on our LinkedIn page where we stream all events.

Questions about the recorded webclasses

All of your certificates of completion are conveniently archived directly on the platform, you can download them at any time by navigating to ‘My Certificates’ in the drop-down menu next to your profile picture (you have to be logged in).

Yes, if you’re subscribed to the Basic membership or higher, you can watch the recording here on the day after the event as part of your access to all webclasses.

 

If you have a free Auditopia account, you will receive the link to the freely available video via email the day after the event. This link will take you to a different page that is not part of this section. Please note that the free recording is available for about a week after the event. If you’d like to have access to our full catalog of recorded events and obtain CPE certificates for watching them, please explore our membership options.

Questions about sharing and selling resources

When you share one of your audit programs, templates, or checklists, others don’t have to reinvent the wheel. And you’re encouraged to borrow liberally, too, so you can build on the best of what your peers have already done. Together we’re stronger! 

The first difference is that the groups typically are closed and require members to request access. So if you’re not in a group, you don’t have visibility into what’s shared there. This isn’t necessarily a negative thing as it is intended to allow for more open discussions and sharing. But if you’d like your resource to be made widely available, choose this section over a group.

 

The second difference is the degree of anonymity. In the group, all group members would see your username next to the file upload. Should you prefer more anonymity, send the document to us over email and we’ll make sure it doesn’t include any sensitive information and make it freely available here in Auditopia’s name.

Here are the high-level steps you’ll need to take. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for help. Happy to assist you e.g. in a screen-sharing Zoom meeting.

 

  1. Hit ‘Add Paid Resource’ above
  2. Follow the steps to create your vendor account
  3. In the vendor dashboard, go to Products and add your resources there
  4. Sign in to Stripe or create your account at stripe.com
  5. Connect your Stripe account to Auditopia so we can forward your revenues to your account. This is done by going to your vendor dashboard and navigating to -> Settings -> Payments.

Questions about our membership options

During checkout, please increase the quantity of the subscription to reflect your team size (including yourself). Please have your team register on Auditopia with their work email addresses and send us a quick email from your work email address once completed (info at auditopia dot com). We will then grant each team member access to all the resources per your membership level.

Yes, we typically offer paying by invoice for any payments exceeding $5k. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we’ll be happy to work with you.

We have a sliding scale pricing for teams of 10+ members. Please get in touch with us for a quote.

Rest assured that we’ll help you should you ever get stuck or have any questions about the platform. Simply email us at info at auditopia dot com and we’ll normally respond within the same day.

You can conveniently cancel your subscription at any time on the platform. Please navigate to ‘Store’ in the drop-down menu next to your profile picture (you have to be logged in) and go to ‘Subscriptions’. Please note that unused periods of your subscription term aren’t refundable.
