Anyone who applies to be an affiliate and is accepted can be an Auditopia Affiliate. Our affiliates may share valuable learning opportunities, communicate about Auditopia’s events or products, and pass along savings to their network of contacts.

When you become an Auditopia Affiliate, you will be given a unique affiliate link and a unique coupon code.

You’ll earn commissions on qualifying purchases (defined below) made through your affiliate link or coupon code. Commissions are tracked automatically through our ecommerce system (WooCommerce) and reported in your personal Solid Affiliate dashboard. Solid Affiliate (https://docs.solidaffiliate.com/) is the third-party we use to manage affiliates and related transactions.

Purchases that qualify for the Auditopia Affiliate Program (AAP) must:

• go through the Auditopia.com ecommerce process, including successful checkout and payment processing
• not be excluded by Auditopia; some products, such as Auditopia Services, Audit Toolbox Services, and products with specific commission arrangements outside of the AAP may be excluded from the AAP
• follow the rules of Solid Affiliate’s precedence system (which determines what affiliate gets credit for a given purchase), including any settings configured by Auditopia that may adjust that order of precedence
• not require manual intervention or adjustment by Auditopia; transactions that require changes to affiliate attribution, commission eligibility, or referral relationships may be deemed ineligible at Auditopia’s reasonable discretion

“Lifetime Commissions”

The top level of precedence is granted to “lifetime commissions”. Auditopia has set the “lifetime” period at 12 months. Lifetime commissions can only be earned if the customer has never made a purchase on Auditopia.com, based on their Auditopia login email address (we’ll refer to this customer as a “New Customer”). Here’s how lifetime commissions work:

• A New Customer goes to Auditopia.com through an affiliate’s referral link or uses an affiliate’s coupon code at checkout
• If a New Customer makes their first Auditopia purchase after using an affiliate link or affiliate coupon code, the affiliate who earns the commission on that purchase will then be eligible to receive commission on all transactions by that customer for the next 12 months after their first purchase
• No browser cookies are involved with lifetime commissions once created, as this connection is set up in Solid Affiliate’s systems and Auditopia transactions will first check to see if such a connection exists before checkout. This helps us ensure that lifetime commissions will be honored regardless of what browser, computer, or mobile device is used for the purchase, and the lifetime commissions connection is not lost if the customer deletes their browser cookies.

Affiliate Link and Coupon Code Usage for Existing Customers

Simply, if a customer has previously made a purchase on Auditopia.com and clicks an affiliate link, a web browser cookie (a small bit of text that is referenced when/if the customer makes a purchase, so our ecommerce system knows which affiliate should get the commission) is created on the customer’s computer. When a customer makes a purchase on Auditopia.com, our ecommerce system checks the latest affiliate link the customer clicked (if any) and that affiliate gets a commission for that purchase (for qualifying products). So, the last affiliate link clicked before successful checkout “wins”. The only exception to this process is if a coupon code is used, in which case the affiliate owning the coupon code will earn the commission, as coupon codes take precedence in a transaction over affiliate links and their associated browser cookies.

Note:

• Affiliates continue to receive commissions for a customer who clicks their link unless:

• the customer clicks a different affiliate link, in which case the new affiliate cookie replaces the prior affiliate’s cookie

• the customer deletes their cookies for the browser they used when they clicked on the affiliate link

• the customer uses a different browser (not the same one that took them to Auditopia.com when clicking the affiliate link)

• the affiliate cookie has expired, which occurs after 30 days; the 30-day period starts over if a new affiliate link is clicked by the customer and a new cookie is generated to replace the old one

Commission rates vary based on the affiliate relationship and the types of products or events being promoted. Affiliate commission rates are displayed on your affiliate dashboard.

Commissions are paid quarterly, with payments issued approximately 30 to 45 days after the close of each quarter (e.g., Q1 earnings from January–March are paid May 1 through May 15).

Affiliates may receive a custom coupon code (typically 10% off) to share with their audience. This coupon code can be applied to most purchases in the Auditopia store, though some exclusions may apply.

When a coupon code is used at checkout, the purchase is credited to the affiliate associated with that code for commission tracking purposes.

No, you can promote as much or as little as you’d like. We’ll occasionally highlight specific events—especially conferences—but how you participate is completely up to you.

Yes, we may provide sample emails, social media posts, and graphics. You’re welcome to use them as-is or customize them to fit your voice.
