This is an archived session with Alain Rousseau – Director, Sepia Solutions – from the Auditopia 2026 Arbutus Conference.
Using a simple technique and a standard Arbutus Analyzer feature, this session will demonstrate how to preserve valuable analytics resources, leverage different skillsets, and get more from your investment in data analytics—even if you are a team of one.
Throughout the analytics process, practitioners develop useful data tables, efficient procedures, reusable templates, proven approaches, and clever tips and techniques. These resources often require significant time and effort to create, yet they can be easily forgotten and unnecessarily rebuilt for future projects.
This session will explore a practical way to capture, organize, share, and reuse those resources. It will also show how teams can benefit from the complementary strengths of their members—whether those strengths involve defining objectives, asking the right questions, obtaining data from source systems, or developing analytics procedures. By creating an accessible library of reusable resources, individuals and teams can reduce duplicated effort, improve consistency, and perform analytics more efficiently.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Identify opportunities to reuse data analytics resources, including tables, procedures, scripts, templates, and workflows, to reduce duplicated effort and improve efficiency.
- Explain how sharing analytics resources can leverage the different skills and expertise of team members and increase the value of an organization’s investment in data analytics.
- Describe how Arbutus products can be used to organize and share reusable analytics resources across a team.
