Auditopia 2026 ACL 2-Day Training – On-Demand – with CPE

This course contains archived recordings from the Auditopia 2026 ACL Refresher Training, originally presented live on September 14–15, 2026.

The training provides a practical, hands-on exploration of ACL Analytics for auditors, analysts, and other professionals who want to strengthen their data analytics skills. Across the two days, the training follows the lifecycle of an analytics project—from importing and verifying data to analyzing, transforming, and using that data to answer audit questions.

What You’ll Cover

Day 1 – Foundations & Core Techniques

By the end of Day 1, participants should be able to:

• Navigate the ACL interface and understand data file structures
• Import, verify, and prepare data for analysis
• Use key Analyze commands such as Count, Statistics, and Classify
• Apply filters, expressions, and essential functions
• Extract, export, and manage data using ACL tools

Day 2 – Intermediate Techniques & Automation

By the end of Day 2, participants should be able to:

• Document their work to support audit transparency and consistency, scripting, automation, and techniques for creating repeatable and well-documented analytics.
• Reinforce key ACL concepts through review and practical application
• Work with joins and relationships across datasets
• Perform more complex data imports and transformations
• Build and understand scripts for automated, repeatable analytics

Throughout the training, the emphasis is not simply on learning ACL commands, but on understanding when and why to use them. The goal is to help you develop an analytics mindset that you can apply to your own audit work.

CPE Credit

This course includes the required activities for earning CPE credit. As you progress through the course, please complete all required lessons, questions, and other CPE activities as instructed.

At the end of the course, Part 3 contains the final CPE questions. Once you have successfully completed those questions and all other course requirements, your CPE certificate will be issued.
